The Haunting of Mount Clifton Manor is a haunted escape room in Exeter. Leaning on our previous experience with Exeter’s Haunted House we wanted to tell an immersive haunted house story featuring some classic spooks. This escape room was designed with classic, suspense filled horror in mind. Dare you brave the shadows to discover the dark past plaguing the Manor?
The Story
Mount Clifton Manor is a shadow of its former splendour. The ancestral home of the Clifton family is falling into ruin after years of neglect following the disappearance of Lord Frederick Clifton. The Manor has been subject to many reports of ghostly sightings over the years with nobody identifying the cause behind the phenomenon. Keen to put the matter to rest once and for all Lady Clifton has hired you as the leading paranormal investigators to come in and find the cause behind the disruption. Assemble your team and get ready to discover the secrets and mysteries lurking in Mount Clifton Manor.

Please note that this story contains topics that may not be suitable to some with a nervous disposition. The room contains dark environments and jump scares. We do not recommend this room for Children under 12 years old but allow all ages at parents discretion. Please call ahead if you have any concerns.

Team Size
Teams of 2-8 People are required for this experience. We require that team members aged 15 and under are accompanied by a participating adult.
Duration
This experience is 60 minutes long. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your session for briefing and to enable a comfortable start.

This room features a good mix of puzzles to prove a challenge! We’re always on hand however to lend a helping hand to complete the story!
Accessibility
We can provide a less scary version for those for a nervous disposition. This room includes captions and larger print. Please call ahead if you have and additional concerns so we can do our best to assist.
