What does the Prodigy Escapes logo mean?

/ Escape Room Startup / By Dan Frost

After coming up with a name the Prodigy escapes logo is the next most challenging obstacle. We started by finding a typeface that reflected our business image. In this case, we wanted a clean and modern font that demonstrated our professionalism whilst also appearing modern to reflect our passion for technology.

The prodigy escapes logo is an impossible shape depicting a simple colour on one side and a maze on the other. This depicts that whilst things may not seem possible, once they are overcome they appear simple thereafter. The organisation of the shape being two triangles meeting in the centre eludes to an hourglass on its side. This is to convey that the outside world pauses when you enter our experiences.

The colour

The colour blue was a last-minute change and originally we were going to be orange and grey. This is because when we moved into our current address the majority of decoration was blue. It, therefore, seemed an easier option to change the logo rather than redecorate! The hex code for the blue that we use is #0070ff. This is because we decided we would not venture into storylines involving specific fictional characters. It was also easy to remember!
